The "four seasons" of Passalacqua on display

(…) A path lived with intensity, carrying on and trying to renew the Futurist language, that of Giacomo Balla in particular, from the “iridescent interpenetrations” to the contrasts of shapes and colors of the “Optimism and Pessimism” cycle. (…) For the occasion, forty works by Passalacqua are exhibited, dedicated, in the last three years, to the theme of the “Four Seasons”, which then evoke the entire life cycle and its inexhaustible renewal. The alternation of the seasons, as well as by the colors from time to time bright or cold but always powerful, is also marked by a whirlwind of shapes that overlap suggesting the profound upheavals that run through nature and the human soul itself.
